The 2010 Fleet World Awards awards the Navara another award.
Driving away with the prize in the tough Pickup category, the Navara has also done the business for Nissan. Member of the 2010 Fleet World Honours judging panel and Van Fleet World Editor, John Kendall, said: “Navara has succeeded in ousting the Mitsubishi L200 this year. Despite the L200’s more radical looks, the Navara takes the award this year thanks to the latest raft of improvements.
“The Navara becomes the most powerful production pickup on the market thanks to the launch of the 231PS V6 diesel variant in September, but in the meantime, the latest variant of the 2.5-litre common rail diesel hikes power to 190PS, while making significant reductions in fuel consumption and emissions. King and double-cab versions and a host of options help to make the Navara range one of the most comprehensive.”
